Dave Wells on the church...
Today.... I was listening to Dave Wells on 100 Huntley Street on July 13, 2010... he was talking about the Chaplaincy program that he was apart of this past winter at the 2010 Olympics. At the end of the video the host asks Dave about Christian denominations today as the leader of a large evangelical denomination (the PAOC). Listen to what Dave says... what do you think?

Both very interesting and very challenging. It's a statement that affirms that the status quo is not good enough, but that it is not a write-off either.
Existing groups/churches have an obligation to find ways to rub shoulders with Canadians and connect with them so that they can come into contact with Jesus through us. It's a tall order but it's the future of Christianity in our Western context.
